Proceedings - submission of manuscripts

 

The MNE 2009 proceedings will be published as a Special Issue of Microelectronic Engineering (MEE). Proceedings will be published on-line and on CD-ROM. Only manuscripts of accepted abstracts will be taken into consideration. For general information about Microelectronic Engineering (MEE) , please click here.

 

Timeline

 

In order to guarantee the timely production of the MNE 2009 proceedings, the following timeline will strictly be followed:

14 September 2009:     final deadline for submission of manuscripts
14 Sept - 30 Nov 2009: review of submitted manuscripts / corrections by authors (if required)
30 November 2009:      final deadline for submission of corrected manuscripts (if required)
Spring 2010 :      Proceedings will be availble on-line and all participants will receive a CD-ROM

 

Please note that corrected manuscripts that are not received by 30 November 2009 will not be published.

Preparation of your manuscript

Four (4) page articles submitted should be max 3000 words (i.e. without title, authors and abstract, but including references), if no figures and tables are included. If you include figures you are urged to have them as 8x8 cm long maximum size for one column figures. Authors should substract from the 3000 word count 250 words for each one column figure (8x8cm), and 500 words for each double figure (in one column or spanning two columns). Approximately the same word cost is valid for one and two column tables respectively. Figure and table captions should be included in the total maximum word count remaining after the substraction of figures / tables.

Submission of your manuscript

Please follow the instructions below to submit your manuscript:

1. Go to the EES website by clicking here

2. Select "Register" from the main menu (top of the page) and follow the different steps in order to register as an author. Once you have received your password, you can continue to the following step:

3. Select: "Submit Paper " from the main menu (top of the page)

4. Select "Special Issue: MNE 2009" from the Article Type pull-down menu and follow the different steps to submit your manuscript.

The manuscript is submitted to the Editorial Office who then assigns it to the Guest Editor in charge of that specific special issue.
